    Here at Mother Mountain Forge we run courses in knife making, blacksmithing, axe making, and many others. I love what I do and I started teaching myself smithing because I found the process fascinating. But it was a long and slow journey to teach myself over the last 20 years.

A large, heavy duty, curved knife specifically made for slicing brisket, but useful for many other kitchen jobs. 

It is hand forged from 1075 high carbon steel with a brut de forge finish on the blade. The collar is thick mild steel with the same finish for that rustic look. It has a beefwood timber handle.

A Nakiri style kitchen cleaver.  It is hand forged from 1075 high carbon steel with a brut de forge finish and a faceted QLD saffron and black Wenge timber handle.
