This tomahawk is made for throwing, lighter overall with a friction fitted head. This means that the head is designed to come loose from the handle on impact after throwing, so as to not shatter your handle. It can still be used though as a general purpose tomahawk. It is hand forged from one piece of S5 high carbon tool steel, with a rock maple timber handle with a burn grip pattern.
