The Feminine Trinity represents the three phases of Goddesses and women all over the world. Maiden with her innocence and youth, possibility and opportunity await her. Mother in full bloom nurturing the spark of life and creativity within her. Crone with the knowledge, experience and wisdom of a full life. Their combined strength and beauty shoulders the weight of the world with all its responsibilities. Each side of this three sided sculpture is an aspect of the Goddess.

Anne in steel

A few years back I had the privilege of working with the model Anne Duffy. After many hours of measurements and fitting, and then many, many more hours of painstakingly shaping steel sheet, this is the result. She stands1.5 m tall on a wrought iron, tripod based frame. She was on display at Bermagui’s Sculpture OnThe Edge exhibition in the small sculpture section.

Towamba School Commemorative Sign

This sign was made for the 150th anniversary of Towamba Public School on the far south coast. I made the numerals on the day at the school and some traditional timber workers made the post and rail sign.
